Ready to spark your own creative expression? This Saturday afternoon program is ideal for anyone looking to explore their creativity through words and images.  Featuring poets Christine Higgins, Ann Lolordo, Madeleine Mysko and Kathleen O’Toole, and artist Sally Brucker. The four poets, will read from their recently published book, In the Margins, described as a “conversation in poetry”. Workshop participants will be invited to join the conversation, responding with their own words and images in a workshop led by Takoma Park artist Sally Brucker using Japanese Sumi-I ink painting.

Come to listen, dabble and discover. Materials provided.  In the Margins will be available at a discounted price for workshop participants.  Student price with current ID is $10.  Please register so we can accommodate everyone.
