Experimental Writing Lab returns with more experiments with words, this time with a focus on poetry. Join us as we pursue creative writing through experiment and chance. We will explore various methods including cut-ups, erasures, collage, homophonic translations, and concrete poetry. The course is offered as an 8-week session. Who: Open to anyone age 15 and up
Cost: $120 ($15/session). This is a sliding scale class - if the tuition poses a burden for you, just pay whatever you can.

Leslie Bumstead is a poet born and raised in Washington DC. Her book of poems, Cipher/Civilian (Edge Books) came out in 2006. Her work has appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies. She teaches literature and writing in the DC area.
