Channeling Klossowski and Bataille, here there are no boundaries between the past and present, the sacred and erotic, and the real and imagined. In-camera effects, projections, and optical printing are used to create a layering of images that systematically reworks narrative fragments into a final, simplified conclusion.

A meditation on the effects of displacement and racial difference upon intimate relations. The protagonist moves from city to city, seemingly in an attempt to find the space wherein she might viably act as both subject and object of desire, while narrating her inner thoughts to an unnamed acquaintance.

Bios
Rebecca Reynolds uses cinematic "parlor tricks" to construct and pervert systems of logic with surreal and provocative imagery. Ideas are played out through uncanny juxtapositions within a divided frame, created DIY-style with her beloved Bolex and matte box.
A. Moon is an experimental filmmaker whose work has screened in eight countries on three continents. She has been the recipient of grants and awards from the Princess Grace Foundation, the Maryland State Arts Council, the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance, and numerous film festivals. In 2014, she was a fellow with the Center for Asian American Media, and in 2014/15 she was a Fulbright Senior Research Fellow in Istanbul, Turkey.
Pat Doyenis a photographer, filmmaker and media artist. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including festivals in New York, Seattle, Toronto, Mexico and Bosnia, and locally at The Mitchell Gallery in Annapolis, Off-Rhode Gallery in DC, ArtDC in Hyattsville and The Washington School of Photography. She has taught hand processing and filmmaking workshops for both children and adults and is a contributor to the DIY Guide to Film & Video published by Parcell Press.
Chris H. Lynn is a moving image maker, sound artist, educator, and curator. His digital images and Super 8 films capture the subtle rhythms of movement, light, and sound in urban and rural landscapes. His work has been screened and exhibited in a variety of venues around the globe and has recently been featured in the book Cinema and the AudioVisual Imagination published by I.B Tauris. www.framingsounds.com
Nate Scheible is a DC based drummer/composer who has performed and recorded in a variety of bands and ensembles spanning multiple genres.
