FORTNIGHTS - Rhizome's communal learning series is untaught and unled. Our discussion/action groups are an opportunity for people to learn about a topic by reading, discussing, and then experimenting with the ideas that grow out of our discussions.
In the 'Reading Rhizome' series we are exploring the ideas of Gilles Deleuze, who was one of the most influential philosophers of the 20th century, and whose writings seem increasingly relevant today.
In this (Feb 7th) session we will discuss the ideas and implications of Deleuze & Guattari's Rhizome, as described in the first chapter of their landmark book 'A Thousand Plateaus'. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you missed last week's initial session.
When: Tuesday February 7th, 7:30pm
Cost: Free (donations for the space appreciated, any amount)
