Dina Maccabee is best known for her violin and viola playing and singing with Ramon & Jessica, Real Vocal String Quartet, and Julia Holter. She is touring in support of her new solo album, The World is in the Work, in which Dina's poignant, pared down songs are framed by a unique approach to viola, looping and electronic processing. Janel Leppin - With a musical style as unique as it is captivating, cellist, vocalist and composer Janel Leppin is a highly developed, innovative artist. Through intense devotion to craft, Janel fuses flawless technicality with boundless, creativity moving far beyond the conventions of her instruments to make music which exists in uncharted sonic territories.
Janel's diverse musical interests, innovations and virtuosic ability have caught the attention of dozens of celebrated artists with whom she has collaborated. Some of these collaborators include Eyvind Kang, Oren Ambarchi, Marissa Nadler, Kyp Malone, Susan Alcorn, Skuli Sverrison, Gino Robair, and Randall Dunn. Josh Mason (b. 1983) lives and works in Jacksonville, FL. His music is primarily guitar based and is often accompanied by tape machines, computers, electronics and found sounds. While focused on restraint & reservation, he tends to believes that audio works should go on only as long as they need to.
