This year, four water protectors—Michael “Little Feather” Giron, Dion Ortiz, Michael “Rattler” Markus, and Red Fawn Fallis—were sentenced to federal prison for actions in opposition to the Dakota Access Pipeline at Standing Rock. Join us Tuesday, January 22 at 7:00pm as we write letters of support from the outside, and discuss the role of prisoner support in dismantling global carceral systems. Stationary and writing materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own.
