Yasmin Williams is an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist with an unorthodox, modern style of playing. Her music has been commonly described as refreshing, relaxing, and unique and has been called some of the most imaginative guitar music out today. She utilizes various techniques including alternate tunings, percussive hits, and lap tapping in her music to great effect. Pergola is the work of Baltimore-based fingerstyle guitarist Todd Shelar. His music is influenced by American Primitive Guitar players, impressionism, minimalism, Renaissance through Modern classical guitar and various folk music traditions. Pergola's most recent release, "Bird Visitor," was released in September on Good Soil Records.
Jon Camp is a fingerstyle guitarist and composer from the Washington, DC region. On his recent album, "Headwinds & Tailwinds," Jon builds off the structure of American Primitive Guitar and applies it to an electric full-band setting, encompassing psychedelia, country, and drone.
Kevin Coleman is a fingerstyle guitarist playing in the American Primitive tradition.
