Tuesday April 23 * 8pm SHARP * $10 * TICKETS

Amplified voice artist, noise musician, etc. His latest solo project, called Self Toxication, explores possibilities of extended vocal techniques and their amplification through feedbacks and re-amplification processes. His unique organic noise coins onliest groove with dynamic physicality.

Exploring stages (or anything with PA) all over the world, also as his lifetime project, he has toured Europe extensively, Japan, Southeast Asia, USA, with Self Toxication, as well as Sweatnosiecore duo project, BNSU, and collaborations with numerous other artists. Some of his past stages are listed as below: TOPH X TUSK FRINGE (2018 / Newcastle), allEars (2018 / Oslo), Ende Tymes (2017 / NYC), MultiDOM (2016~ / Over Europe), ART MEETING (2016, 14 / Fukushima), FRIV Festival (2016 / Poznań), MultiMadeira (2015 / Madeira), (LUFF - Lausanne Underground Film&Music Festival 2016, 15), etc. Various releases of his projects can be found via Brain Pussyfication, DBY Records, Deathwave Industries, Larch Records, Mapawi Records, Oxen Records, OOOSOUND, etc.

Jeff Carey (Baltimore) makes hardcore digital music with a joystick, a gamer keypad, and an array of strobe lights. Computer based synthesis, noise, and improvisation combined with a no-safety-net aspect of gestural control makes his music totally physical and visceral.

"He's acting on raw instinct here - he refuses the clinical approach to programming software or composing music, and strives to throw himself bodily at his machines, replacing all mechanical moving parts with human flesh, blood, and bone. In pursuit of this all-organic goal, virtually everything else is jettisoned, starting with recognisable notes or melody." -Ed Pinsent, Sound Projector

Lexie Mountain (Baltimore) produces videos, sound work, textile projects, sculpture, drawings, paintings and things that refer to paintings. She has been an active contributor to Baltimore's cultural scene for over a decade. She is a founder and member of all-female experimental a capella collective Lexie Mountain Boys and avant-rock group Crazy Dreams Band, makes solo sounds under the name Lexie Mountain and collaborates regularly with a wide variety of performers and musicians in Baltimore and beyond.

"Baltimore's Lexie Mountain isn't so much a relentlessly inquisitive sound-shifter as she is a Renaissance Everywoman dynamo. There is, seemingly, nothing she can't do or hasn't done. " - Raymond Cummings in Village Voice blog Sound of the City

Kiran Arora (New York) commits an emphatic and unsettling statement of harsh noise endurance. Kiran hands us over a clarity of abusive commotion yielding to compelling showers of junk metal and howling noise clamor.

DC's JC Remick has been laying low, storing it all up for YOU.
