Stewart/Thuro/Crossland
Brand new trio collaboration between three of the area's most interesting improvisers. Luke Stewart (bass) / Patrick Crossland (trombone) / Corey Thuro (guitar, mandolin). Luke holds the bass chair in countless bands, including (but not limited to) Irreversible Entanglements, Heroes are Gang Leaders, the James Brandon Lewis Trio, and the Jaimie Branch Trio. He is also known for his solo bass performances which employ feedback and the resonant properties of the instrument. Patrick is an avid improvisor, working with a wide range of musicians and dancers including Günter Christmann, Alexander Frangenheim, Jack Wright, and Heidelberg's Unterwegs Theater. He was a featured artist in the 2013 High Zero Festival in Baltimore, MD and in the concepts of doing festival in Berlin (2013, 2015). He is currently a member of the Composers Slide Quartet and Ensemble Laboratorium. Corey is a musician, writer, and artist. For the past few years he has been living in Baltimore developing an original technique and voice for his primary instrument, the mandolin. Along with a dedicated self-guided study towards proficiency on the instrument he has invented and incorporated the use of new techniques, tunings, and ideas.
Noiseless Ensemble is Harry Walker/bass, Byron McWilliams/drums, Brad Linde/saxophone, Jerry Gentry/electric vibe.
Pony Moon is the convergence of Jenny Moon Tucker (Twilight Memories of The Three Suns) and Pony Payroll Bones (Hubcap City (from Belgium), Pony Blood). Violent Psychedelic Music eternal drone. A duo with occasional guests. Everything is fluid. The river finds the ocean and the Ocean always rains into the river. Violin (s), Saxophones, Electronics, broken instruments, Found Percussion.
