Rosie Cima & What She Dreamed

Rosie Cima & What She Dreamed is a four-piece rock band based in Washington, D.C. Songwriter and frontwoman Rosie Cima combines forces with Steven Burch (The Sock Market (PGH)), Barrett Browne, and Mashaal Ahmed to create original folk-inspired indie rock in the vein of Big Thief, Angel Olsen, and Hop Along. Cima formed the band to play the release show of her debut solo EP Blackberry, Blackberry, Blackberry on cassette and online in December 2018, and since then the quartet has flourished. Rosie Cima and What She Dreamed recorded their first full length, Realm of the Warring Gods which they are preparing to release. Rosie Cima & What She Dreamed is kicking off our pre-sale of their forthcoming album (Realm of the Warring Gods). They will be giving their share of ticket sales and presales to Songbyrd DC in Adams Morgan to sponsor a fund to offer guarantees to artists who do livestreams. https://rosiecimaandwhatshedreamed.com

Lightmare is a six-person soulpunk arrangement out of Washington, D.C. making songs about love, death, and revolution, overlapping and in any order. Smooth and sharp, warm and galvanizing, punchy, political and personal. Their set is guaranteed to get your body moving and your feelings flowing. Their first album, Dream Glitch, was met with enthusiasm and acclaim. Lightmare will be releasing their sophomore album, Dirt, during the first week of December 2020. https://www.facebook.com/LightmareDC/
