Michael Potter is a musician and artist residing in Athens, GA. He makes improvisational ambient primitive guitar music under his own name, as well as a variety of other experimental projects and monikers. He also runs the Garden Portal, Null Zone, and Serrated Tapes record labels.
Chris Lott is a south Georgian who’s lived in Athens, GA for about a decade, dabbling in musical endeavors in the realm of progressive jazz rock, experimental pop, free improvisation, and acoustic folk drone, spanning projects like Gabor Bonzo, Dough-Sky-Dan Trio, and Demeter Lunchlord. For this event, he’ll be playing a solo exploratory guitar set.
Dura is the ambient guitar and texture project of Mattson Ogg. Drifting past cassette releases from Patient Sounds, Scissor Tail, Garden Portal and most recently Atlantic Rhythms, Dura is always trying to find a lower way to glisten and listen.
