German bassist Alexander Frangenheim and local trombonist Patrick Crossland have worked as a duo for several years as documented on their 2013 CD, Ape Green. This performance will also feature saxophonist John Dierker and percussionist Tom Goldstein. This quartet has never played together, making this a true first encounter.

Local improvisers' collective CMW Players will open up the night. Participants this time around include but are not limited to: Alma Laprida, Darien Baiza, Jim Ryan, Kirsten Warfield, Nate Scheible.
