Saturday October 8 * 5pm * OUTSIDE, weather permitting * TICKETS
Last year, we received a grant from Humanities DC to complete a series of oral histories of a dozen Rhizome community members. This year, we received a follow-up grant to develop the project into a video documentary covering Rhizome's first six and a half years. Join us for the first public screening of this beautiful project, envisioned and enacted by longtime Rhizome community member Tatev Sargsyan with help from a sprawling cast and crew.
The event will start with improvised collaborations between some of DC's most creative musicians and dancers. We will curate various never-before-seen groupings of performers to delight and excite and get you in the mood for the screening.
