Ash Newton (they/them) is an official member of the DMV Youth Poetry Slam Team. Their work spans slam poetry, found poetry, epistolary and more. Aside from writing, they also make multimedia art and illustrations. They are a freshman Journalism major at the University of Maryland and plan to enter sports journalism with a focus on motorcycle racing.

Leo is a sixteen year old poet currently enrolled at Northwestern High School. Some things he enjoys doing, other than poetry, include baking/cooking, reading, crocheting, going for long walks, and getting the occasional cup of coffee.

My name is Maximo Valle. I go to Morgan State University majoring in music performance with a concentration in clarinet. I like to travel to different places and I love the outdoors. I am very passionate about music and I am aiming to build a career step by step in the music world.

My name is Katherine Ruiz, I am a 17 year old cellist attending Northwestern High School. I am dedicated to my craft, and sharing part of who I am with others through performing. Growing up music has always the part of my life that I cherish the most. I want to help music evolve, and become something people can rely on and find happiness in.
