Pairdown is David Leicht and Raymond Morin, a fingerstyle guitar and songwriting duo from Pittsburgh, PA. Their music reflects a deep well of influences, starting from the early '60s folk and rock scenes on both sides of the Atlantic, through the American Primitive and private press guitar movements of the 70s, to the independent rock era of the 80s to present. They've shared stages with Jack Rose, Ryley Walker, Glenn Jones, Daniel Bachman, and more. Their recent LP, The Gruesome Two, which spotlights formative influences including fIREHOSE, The Minutemen, R.E.M., and The Smiths, was released in October.
Cody Summit is a songwriter and guitarist from Baltimore. He released his first full length album "Welcome to Greener Then" in 2021. Folk music techniques are the basis for his songwriting -- he finger picks acoustic guitar in alternate tunings, and plays slide on resophonic on Weissenborn guitars. He is currently workshopping a new set of music for his next album, "The Boy Who Could Not Cry".
