Saturday June 3 * 2pm * TICKETS
Join us for a QU23 music showcase featuring Afrofuturism, sonic deconstruction of 20th New Musik and experimental music by queer artists and allies on Saturday June 3rd at 2:00PM at Rhizome DC. QUEERING SOUND is a multifaceted arts festival of LGBTQIA+ artists/allies held annually in Washington DC.
Performances by:
BUSHMEAT SOUND
Dr. Thomas Stanley is an author, artist and activist. He performs and records sound art and new music as Bushmeat/Bushmeat Sound/Bushmeat Sound System. His works are offered as noetic prostheses -- neuroleptic struts to insert, through the ears, deep into the tissues of consciousness.

MISSION CREEP
Mission creep is the gradual or incremental expansion of an intervention, project or mission, beyond its original scope, focus or goals, a ratchet effect spawned by initial success. Mission creep is usually considered undesirable due to how each success breeds more ambitious interventions until a final failure happens, stopping the intervention entirely. Advantageable and most importantly under our current circumstances, Mission Creep is an electro-acoustic improvisation trio.
