Participants will bring these enchanting beings to life using creative and recycled materials from Rhizome’s space. At the Fiction Council, our mission is to dedicate ourselves to fostering imagination and creativity, inspiring positive and transformative change. We aim to establish a Jerusalem-based research and documentation center that focuses on Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic mythology, fantasy, and the paranormal, all in celebration of our rich cultural treasures. Our Objectives are simple and impactful: Establishing a research hub and a resource for artists, researchers, writers, creators and enthusiasts, etc., to encourage the exploration, documentation and archiving of Arab mythology, fantasy, paranormal heritage, and science fiction. Celebrating, protecting and expanding our cultural treasures, making them more accessible for people to explore across the Arab world, and conducting knowledge production. Supporting Palestinians in asserting their their identity during crisis by nurturing their imagination and creativity in a special communal space designed for self-discovery and growth in addition to the path of a visionary future.
