Sun Organ - Candlelight shower time, the 6th record from philadelphia’s Sludgepop legends sun organ showcases the project’s evolution in terms of dynamics, songcraft and psychedelic/heavy production. Led by songwriter producer Tim Jordan (Nyxy Nyx , SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE , Nirvana), the album showcases Jordan’s ability to craft both a unique sonic landscape while crafting a singular lyrical folklore allowing this album to be the project’s most unique and fully realized album to date. Aided by longterm Sun Organ Collaborators Dan Angel, Pat Conaboy (Spirit of the beehive) the project also brings in new collaborators Benjamin Schurr (Nyxy Nyx , Luna Honey, Ruah), Rachel Gordon (Nine of Swords, Greg Electric), and Nyxy Nyx’s Brian Reichert further showcasing Jordans ability to cultivate a wide breadth of collaborators to expand upon his vision. candlelight shower time will be dually released by Julias War and BLIGHT records

Dyeboy - DC Hyperpunk

Mieke - Party time. Birthed from the womb of New York City, Mieke’s music has developed over the years from sweet sad piano songs to straightforward indie rock tunes with a pinch of biting, a dash of yelling, and a lot of kicking. Mieke’s EP, Public Displays of Reflection (available on all streaming platforms), contains sweet sweet synth/guitar riffs and very catchy lyrics but only a little bit of kicking (they’re saving that for the next EP). Mieke is currently based out of DC. Her likes include thrift shopping, poppin tags, and finding $20 in her pocket. Her dislikes include $50 for a t-shirt, getting swindled and pimped, and getting tricked by a business.
