Killick Hinds lives in Athens, Georgia USA. His music is Appalachian Trance Metal made on unusual stringed instruments with an emphasis on unquantifiable rhythms (shaping time), intuitive intonation (shaping pitch), and shamanistic ROYGBIV (shaping color). The primary sonic influences on Killick are animals, wind, water, fire, electrical hum, and silence. Pop-culture mashups and ancient and obscure forms infuse his music; the effect more closely resembles speech patterns and emotionally-drawn architecture than it does conventional Western music. Despite its eclectic nature the sounds are surprisingly familiar and accessible to audiences of all ages and levels of musical involvement. Killick is a co-founder of Habitable Records and offers mastering services for dynamic sounds through H(i)nds(i)ght Studio. More than 300 Killick albums can be found via www.killick.me.

Nectar Gnome is Jenny Moon Tucker and Meg Ragan An exploration and experiment in weaving sound through the realms. Saxophone, strings, tones and percussive textures sourced though a variety of mysterious objects, build ecstatic stories. Through play they will coax voices out of the aether. Based in Stevenson, MD they help facilitate Changing Ferns Farm, a space for growing food, medicine and healing. Jenny Moon Tucker has their roots in the DC/Baltimore experimental music worlds, collaborating with a wellspring of beautiful sound technicians, and has performed at High Zero and DC’s Sound Scene.

For thirty years, Austrian born Oswald Berthold has been making unique contributions in the sphere of art & technology. He is a founder of farmersmanual (1995), a renowned pan-european electronic disturbance conglomerate; co-owner with Florian Hecker of fals.ch (1998), a pioneering online music label, and the musical artists cd_slopper (1999). In 2001 Berthold received an honorary mention in digital musics at the Ars Electronica festival with their project "pxp". Working increasingly on real-time data-driven generative music in the early 2000s he started specializing in AI and robotics, and went on to earn an MSc. in computer science (2012) and a Ph.D in developmental robotics (2020), both from Humboldt-University of Berlin. As a post-doc project he co-founded the Berlin-based robotics startup Jetpack Cognition Lab in 2019 with fellow roboticist Matthias Kubisch, where they invented and started marketing "flatcat", a one-of-a-kind bio-inspired AI-pet robot (your next robot is a pet). Flatcat audio is a live participatory social music experiment. In this piece, the flatcat robot is connected wirelessly to a computer and transmits its movement as data. This data is then used to control a digital synthesizer. During the performance, the robot is usually passed around in the audience, allowing members to directly participate by playing with the robot and thereby changing the sound.
