In this interactive workshop, participants will set up a free online mapping account at arcgis.com and then learn to map data using the rich trove of data available through the D.C. government’s Open Data portal.
About the instructor: Amanda Huron is an associate professor of interdisciplinary social sciences at the University of the District of Columbia. She is an urban geographer specializing in housing justice and D.C. history, and has taught online mapping workshops all over D.C. amandahuron.net
